WHAT TO DO IN PALAWAN
The Philippines's Palawan Island was voted no. 1 island in the world by US-Magazin Traveller Conde Nast - and you will easily see why. The readers of Travel and Leisure magazine voted the exotic archipelago Palawan number one for a few times. It has clear blue waters, great diving, celeb fans like Brad Pitt and the longest subterranean river in the world. Famously its shores have featured in Bourne Legacy, The Beach and James Bond film "The World is Not Enough".
Palawan consists of more than 1,780 islands and islets across a 14,000-sq-km area, making it the largest province in the country. From its crystal-clear waters to its strangely shaped limestone rock formations, and from its white-sand beaches to its mountain ranges covered with tropical trees, Palawan offers one of the most exciting holiday destinations in the world.
